At Five Seeds Charity, we are members of the diaspora with a deep, unbreakable connection to our homeland of Nigeria. Our commitment is personal, rooted in both love and responsibility, and driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals back home. Guided by our faith and a shared conviction to care for those in need, we are coming together to support, uplift, and plant seeds of hope for future generations.

About Us

History

For five years, my mother Oyinlola and I (Yori) have carried a calling we could not ignore. Five children hungry, homeless, and out of school walked into a church in Nigeria seeking help. No food. No shelter. No education. No future in sight. We knew we couldn’t walk away.

So we took up the mandate.
With the help of friends and family, we raised money for rent, food, school fees, and basic survival. Every month since, we have provided food support for all five children. We helped their mother start a small market stall grinding food, selling what she could harvest giving her dignity, income, and a chance to rebuild.

In 2025, our journey expanded.
We partnered with the Yejide Old Girls Association, the alumni network of the school my mother attended nearly five decades ago. These women have faithfully funded scholarships for girls for years, despite retiring making fundraising harder.

With the support of Five Seeds Charity, we were able to raise enough to fund 15 scholarships in 2025, growing their reach beyond the 10 spaces provided in 2024. We increased daily food stipends and raised over 1 million Naira for the school year. We saw parents in tears, hearts full of gratitude as their children's futures brightened a little more.

And that is when the truth became clear:
This was bigger than us.
The Five Seeds Charity had been born.

A vision rooted in love, sustained by faith, and grown through action, we are on a mission to bring immediate relief and long‑term hope to children who would otherwise have none.

Why? Because children are tomorrow. And tomorrow begins with the seeds we plant today.
